Alpha-GPC? Focus? How does that work? What is it? Is it safe?

L-Alpha-GlycerylPhosphorylCholine is a natural choline compound found in the brain. Choline is an essential nutrient that is required to create a powerful neurotransmitter, acetylcholine. Acetylcholine plays a major role in memory/focus, as well as muscle contraction.
Alpha GPC crosses the blood-brain barrier quickly and is then converted to allow the accumulation of Acetylcholine, quickly raising mental acuity in the moment. The Choline pathway is very resistant to creating tolerances which makes it so effective for long term usage, as compared to traditional stimulants. Research has shown doses up to 1,000mg/day for months as being safe and producing potentially therapeutic effects for cognitive recovery.
Impel Nutrition uses the highest standardization(50%) to provide the most benefit from the 250mg dose in GSD Pre. Alpha GPC is only one of the effective focus ingredients in this formula. Stay tuned and learn why this ingredient is 'supercharged' when paired with Huperzia Serra Leaf Extract!
